This Privacy Policy explains how Tally Accounting Limited, operated by Arun G Nair, processes personal data when users access and use PDF Bank Statement to Clean Excel.

2. What data we process

  • PDF bank statement files uploaded for conversion.
  • Generated Excel output files.
  • Technical information required to operate the service, such as upload size, row counts, warning counts, dates/times and error logs.
  • Payment and customer email information processed through Stripe where payment is made.
  • Access code records, including customer email, page allowance, pages used and status.

3. Purpose of processing

We process uploaded files only to provide the requested conversion service. We process payment/access-code data to provide paid access, prevent misuse, track page allowances and provide customer support.

4. Temporary file handling

Uploaded PDFs and generated Excel files are intended to be temporary. They are deleted after download or automatically after the expiry period shown on the converter page. We do not intentionally retain bank PDFs or generated Excel files as permanent records.

5. What we do not intentionally store

We do not intentionally store bank transaction descriptions, bank account numbers, statement line details or full statement contents in the conversion log. Access-code records store payment/access information and page usage, not transaction details.

6. Legal basis

For users who request conversion, processing is necessary to provide the requested service. We may also rely on legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the service, maintaining limited records, preventing misuse and supporting customers.

7. Sharing and processors

The service may use hosting, payment, email and technical providers to operate the website and service, including Render for hosting and Stripe for payment processing. These providers process data only as needed for their service role.

8. Retention

Uploaded files and generated outputs are retained only temporarily for conversion and download. Payment/access-code records may be retained for accounting, support, fraud prevention and legal compliance purposes. Logs are kept limited and do not intentionally include bank statement contents.

9. Security

We use HTTPS and access controls. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should only upload files they are authorised to process and should not share access codes publicly.

10. Your rights

Depending on your location and applicable data protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data. Contact us at support@accountsautomation.ie for requests.
